searching for a veggie burger

i still haven't been able to find a veggie burger to match the one s4 and i tried in nashville, and i think now that i've been disappointed again, i may have put that burger on a pedestal that i'll never be able to meet.

mary and i had our first of two teen presentations at marlborough school yesterday and we went to zeppelin & kaleidoscope, the vegetarian cafe, between the 8th and 6th grade lessons. i had written earlier about my trip here where i had really enjoyed their chocolate chip truffle cookie. this time i got their oxaquena burger which has queso fresco and a mole sauce. the burger was mostly rice, which was the most disappointing because in the description for the veggie burgers it said a spinach patty. it ended up being a starch burger on starch. they were generous with the cheese and mole sauce which i was happy about. now i'm still looking for a veggie burger worthy of buying (this one was a little over $9...). unfortunately, this place was supposed to have the best veggie burgers around. maybe i'll give local burger in keene a shot as i've heard good things about their veggie burger. the quest goes on.
the hilarious find at the cafe though was this newspaper (established in 1992!)- devoted solely to the metal detectors of the world (or maybe just in nh...)
