Xmas bonanza

dragged song with me to yankee candle down in south deerfield, mass. it's a huge marketing masterpiece. we went on a monday morning, thankfully, so we could still find parking and browse through the stores, but it was still really busy.

the yankee "village" is set up with different rooms- with different themed ornaments or candle scents. there were tons of miniature villages with the grinch or adorable candy shops. next we walked through the bavarian village with full-sized Xmas trees.

everything was so Christmasy and festive!

This was just one room with candles!

 just as a warning: you will get a headache if you stay in the candle rooms too long.

it was nice that they had a "make your own" candle room but also a section about the history of candle making.

they had these really cool maps (to the left of the sign was the map of the US) where you could pin where you were from. there were some massive growths on the east coast of course. but i got my piece in!

it would have been amazing to have this in my room as a kid with a mattress on the back part!
