food and fun

couldn't fall asleep last night, not sure it was the two beers (the 2nd i couldn't even finish!) i had at fritz last night or what. TJay was performing at fritz last night, he was kind of a mix of pop, folksy blues. it was less busy than the last time i was there on a friday night, probably b/c of the obnoxious sleet falling. i think weather is supposed to get all sorts of exciting on monday. the musician was good and it was fun to people watch.

today martha, song and i went to the jonathan daniels craft fair (so nice not to pay admission fee!) and there was soooo much nice stuff (and more pot holders and knitted things than i could count). we probably spent about 2 hours there just browsing. i resisted buying the most adorable xmas cards, but that does have to happen soon!

we grabbed some lunch on our way to watch catching fire (great movie, def recommend. the soundtrack is also really good) at kristin's bistro and bakery. not the one on main street but the one off of maple ave in west keene. i got tuna salad on a croissant roll with a side salad (you can also get chips). i forgot how tasty croissants are!

they also had samples of two desserts. one was a chocolate type of fudge and the other was their caramel walnut square. both were fantastic!

hopefully going to get some sleep right now...zzzzzzz
